Eight princesses, no gowns. The joke of the game is taking characters everybody pictures in floor-length silk and giving them ripped jeans, oversized jackets and statement jewellery instead.
It works because the recognisable part of a princess is rarely the dress: it is the hair, the colour she is associated with, the way she carries herself. Strip the gown and you can still tell who is who, and the challenge becomes keeping that identity legible in streetwear. Get it wrong and you have eight girls in denim.
It is a quick game, and the joke carries it.
