The Western look as it actually was in the sixties and seventies, not the dusty film version: embroidered blouses, fringe, wide belts, boots, and colours far brighter than people expect.
Rodeo dress was showy on purpose. It was built to read from the far side of an arena, which is why the embroidery is heavy and the colour is loud, and a muted brown palette gets the period completely wrong. The game stocks the bright end properly, so the accurate look is also the more fun one.
Drawn by Meiker artist Lottie Rogers for Dolldivine.
