BFFs Let's Party

The whole difficulty of dressing a group for one party is that nobody wants to be the one who matched by accident.

So the job is to give each character a clearly separate direction while keeping them at the same level. Same formality, same amount of effort, different ideas. Get the level wrong and one of them looks overdressed, which is worse for the group photograph than any clash of colour.

Set the level first, in your head, before you pick a single garment. Then every character is answering the same question in her own way.
