The new girl story, and the wardrobe covers more ground than most school games because the character is doing three separate things.

There is ordinary school, there is cheerleading, and there is the prom, and each of those has its own dress code. Being new is the thread: none of the three looks can be too settled, because the whole point of the character is that she has not worked out where she fits yet. Whether the game intends that reading or not, it is the one that makes the styling interesting.
