Hunter: Nonbinary Demon
Hunter: Nonbinary Demon
Pastels against flat black is a harder pairing than it looks, and it is most of the palette here.
MxTeddybear drew Hunter for Doll Divine, and the art sits somewhere between an indie webcomic and a 1990s thrift shop: retro prints, windbreakers, loungewear, colours that have gone slightly soft with age. One character rather than a cast, no rounds and no result screen, so it plays as a character study rather than a styling brief. You decide what sort of day Hunter is having and the clothes follow.
The black pieces are doing structural work. Use them to break up the pastels instead of as an accent, and the outfits stop looking washed out.

Frequently asked questions
Who made this one?
MxTeddybear, published on Doll Divine. The style follows their own comic work rather than the house look of the site.
How many characters are there?
One. Everything happens on Hunter, which is why the wardrobe goes deeper than a multi character game would.
