Ghost Princess

A ghost is mostly an absence, which is a difficult thing to dress.

The version that works here treats the transparency as the material. Layers that you can partly see through, colours that have been drained rather than chosen, edges that are soft where a living character would have a hard line. Put a solid strong colour anywhere in that and the illusion goes immediately, which is the most common first-run mistake.

The palette is narrow on purpose. Everything has to happen in pale greys, whites and the faintest colour, and working inside that is much more satisfying than it sounds.
