Gargoyle Princess

A gargoyle is architecture before it is a creature, and this game is much better if you dress her that way.

Think stone greys, carved edges, the weight of something that belongs on a cathedral roof, and then find the princess inside it. The wings are the obvious feature and the easiest to overplay; the more interesting decisions are in texture, where fabric meets something that is meant to look like it was cut rather than sewn.

It sits in the monster princess corner of the catalogue alongside the plant and sea variants, and it is the one with the strongest architectural logic. Play it for the palette if nothing else.
