This is a build in layers rather than a decorating page with one blank cake waiting. You crush the biscuits, mix them with butter and press them into something firm, then the chocolate layers, then the jelly centre that gives the cake its wobble. Only after all that does the decorating open up.

The theme runs through the final stage: the top is meant to read as a small edible seascape, so the colours work best if you commit to one palette early, blue and sand rather than everything at once.
