Nail art is the main event here and the dressing up is the second act, which is the reverse of how these games normally run.
Three princesses come through the salon, Elsa, Moana and Rapunzel, and each gets a manicure designed from scratch before you touch the wardrobe. The autumn theme is doing real work: it narrows the palette to rust, burgundy, mustard and deep green, and a narrow palette is the fastest way to make a set of ten small paintings look deliberate rather than random.
Match the outfit to the nails and not the other way round. It is the harder direction and it produces the better result.
